Josine Stuber is a postdoctoral
researcher at the department of Epidemiology and Data Science of Amsterdam UMC.
As a trained nutritionist and epidemiologist, Josine is interested in how changes in the food environment could impact dietary choices and health outcomes. During her PhD project, she gained extensive
expertise in conducting randomized controlled trials and natural experiments in both online and in-store supermarket environments, focusing on promoting healthier dietary
behaviors.
Her
current research focus lies on the one hand with other naturally occurring changes in our food environments, such as the proposed advertisement bans for unhealthy foods or meat products in public
spaces of Dutch municipalities or the implementation of the Nutri-Score, and on the other with evaluating the health impact of shifting dietary patterns from predominantly animal-based protein
sources towards more plant-based sources.
