Fleur Heuvelman is a PhD candidate at Amsterdam UMC, location AMC, in the Department of Epidemiology and Data Science. She is pursuing her PhD as part of the IMPAQT project (Improving Physical Activity policies and their impact of health equity). Her PhD project focuses on the impact of public policies on health and healthy lifestyles, with special attention to populations experiencing health inequities. Last year, Fleur applied the Physical Activity Environment Policy Index (PA-EPI) in the Dutch context to assess the extent of physical activity policy implementation in the Netherlands and identify actions for implementation to improve its physical activity environment.
